...It’s been a really busy time for us. To make sure that we’re able to provide the best possible experience, there is currently a delay of 3-4 weeks to start a project. We are still providing free project advice.
A interactive process guide from start to finish
This is an opportunity for you and the architect to discuss the finishes that will be applied to the outside of the building.
All the relevant information and documentation should be produced on your behalf, ready for submission to the council. However, always check it over just to be on the safe side. At Resi we will act as your agent throughout the process.
You’ll need to submit a fee within 5 working days of your application being logged.
The council will confirm that they have everything they need to start the consultation process and will allocate a planning officer.
The council tend to go quiet for 4-5 weeks, so don’t panic if you haven’t heard from them or your architect. At this point the architect will contact the planning officer to try to get any feedback. A site visit may also be required.
Fingers crossed an approval is granted! Then it’s time to think about building regulations, structural engineering, party wall matters, contractors and more.
In the unlikely event that you received a refusal, your architect will advise you on the next steps. The council will not charge you to re-apply.
