Must haves for this family included a larger pantry, for their growing appetite, as well as a stylish blend of natural and artificial light. Resi knew exactly how to achieve all of this."

Project details

When a family with two growing children needed some practical solutions for their busy home, Resi knew exactly how to maximise their ground floor, and give it some of those finer touches. We designed a rear extension that gave better access to the garden, while also making the kitchen area the ideal space for everday family life. Not to mention, perfect for entertaining guests in once the children get tucked up in bed.

Solution

We started by opening up their living, kitchen, and dining areas - combining them into an open-space design, giving more room for those growing two children. We then created a large pantry, and created a side entrance to the utility room so bins can be disposed of with ease. Then for those stylish touches, we created skylights to bring in that natural light, and put in some crittall doors. Because even a practical space deserves to feel fancy too.
