The challenge

This homeowner came to us with the dilemma that they were seeking to improve their home by increasing its space. They wanted create a more liveable space in their kitchen, by adding more space for a dining area where they could enjoy their evening meals with family and entertain their guests in a spacious room.

To ensure the time spent in their new space was extra special, one of their wishes was to be able to enjoy their garden a little more. A challenge our team were more than happy to accept and totally agree on: who doesn’t love to enjoy some peaceful and joyful moments with family and friends surrounded by a bit of nature?

The resolution

To provide this customer with what they needed, our team started on planning a rear extension that would allow them to create a more free flowing kitchen-dining area allowing the kitchen to look more spacious, and make it easier to fully enjoy those moments with others. Our team included glass doors on both the sides of the rear extension so that the room would open up onto the garden creating a seamless transition from the indoors to the outdoors. Not only does this allow them to enjoy their outdoor space from the comfort of the inside of their home, it also offers them the right amount of natural light to brighten up the room.

With this brand new dining space and revamped kitchen, this homeowner can now fully enjoy entertaining their guests and hosting their family for whatever the occasion.
