About me

At the age of 14 my grandfather moved back to Saint Lucia after living in Canada for 30 years. He moved back to open a family jewellery business and wanted me to learn the trade. So I had my first business meeting at the age of 14! I had always enjoyed understanding how things worked such as carpentry, joinery and auto mechanics.

I enjoyed being part of the jewellery repairs and making process so much that I began to look at the jewellery showcase magazines and noticed they all created jewellery collections. I wondered what skills I would need to design jewellery. I began to take technical drawing at school seriously to the point I got a distinction. This only added to my curiosity in building technology and architecture. Architecture is more than just a means of employment to me. I enjoy learning ways to communicate ideas while embracing sustainability.
