Getting our Dashboard ready for mobile wasn’t a walk in the park. Our platform covers multiple work stages, varies enormously between customers (depending upon the complexity or scale of projects), and to make things more complicated, we’ve also expanded our service to include both planning applications (we’ll be your agent through this precarious and unpredictable step of the project) and building regulations drawings (here we need to enlist the services of up to 3 third-party suppliers).
Despite the scale of features required, we think we’ve found a way to condense all that into one handheld package. We believe that the new Dashboard brings simplicity to the complex, and enjoyment to the home improvement process - no matter where you are, how many projects you’re working on, or whatever device you use.
Here’s how it works:
Project progress updates
From start to finish, you’ll now be able to see the latest progress of your drawings/planning applications in a more detailed way. Many of the stages your drawings will pass through include multiple levels of design, reviewing, and revisions. You’ll now see these in full, with detailed explanations to keep you fully in the know.
Transparent financial management
Many of you told us that you’d love to have more visibility of Payment Milestones and how these are split across the work stages. With this in mind, we’ve designed a more detailed financial view for projects, with absolute transparency as to what needs to be paid and when.
Files & uploads management
Projects often generate a large number of photos, floor plans, versions of drawings and associated documents. To prevent this from becoming a headache, we’ve created a focused File Manager to keep these in check, complete with categorisation and secure online server storage, with frequent back-ups for peace of mind.
No matter where you are or what you’re doing, you can reach our team of experts at any time of day. We’re on standby to answer any questions you may have, to lay to rest any concerns, or more generally to offer any support we’re able to. Our new device-friendly design means it’s easier than ever to talk to our team while you’re on the move.
Find suppliers for your project
For those of you taking our building regulations package, we’ll need to enlist the help of some third-party suppliers to gain some further detail about your property. With our Connect service now including suppliers, we’ll reach out to trusted professionals and bring you their quotes for the required work. Within the new Dashboard you’re able to view all quotes received and approve the ones you’re happiest with.
Invite a collaborator
Working with a partner or loved one? We’ve got you covered. Simply add them as a collaborator to your project and share the workload. You’ll be able to set their permissions (ranging from financial visibility to messaging) and they’ll be invited to join the proceedings.
Manage multiple projects easily
Our new interface design has been designed with both the single-project customer and developer in mind. No matter how many properties you have the key to, the new Dashboard gives you full visibility of each project simultaneously. As with all functionality in the new Dashboard, this works seamlessly on mobile for the developer on the move.
A work still in progress
The Resi Dashboard is still in its infancy and we’re so excited to bring you this latest release. Over the next six months we’ll be working on streamlining further the production of your drawings, the service we’re able to offer, and the interaction you’ll have with your project.
